Caption: Looking back at the era of railroad photographers from the years of 1950s right thru to the 1990s, Reg Button has to be considered legendary for his photographic talents. He was an expert at what he did, and rarely missed anything to do with an "event" trackside.
Sure, he looks inattentive in this image, but in reality, the CP 8222 and 8242 are moving away from us and we have gotten our images of the power running light along the north side of Park St in the Falls. The power is about to cross Bridge St and Victoria en route to the CN; and Reg here has his attention to railroad chatter on his big Bearcat base scanner that occupies the passenger seat up front. He wasn't going to miss anything.
Reggie passed on December 18, 2001; in his 74th year. Us 'seasoned' guys certainly miss him though.

Nice, I enjoy the Morning Sun title with his pictures quite a bit.
Enjoyed a few chats with Reg over the years at Mile 30 (Halton Sub) or the Bayview bridge. I remember him having an old blue Dodge pickup.
A Dodge Ramcharger! He apparently loved the caravan so much he had the Ramcharger custom-painted to match it.
Well, you know how stubborn he was. I thought it was a “heap” myself.

My father worked at P&G also.If he needed some toothpaste tubes all he do is go to Reg. My brother lives on Graham across from where Reg lived
