Michael, very nice picture, not vey many looking down showing the “old and new” Welland canals and the respective railway bridges. Did you take this from the bridge signal mast ? Thanks for posting, John

Thanks for posting this shot. I grew up in the Port. We had a lot of rail traffic in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. CN and TH&B. It particularly exciting during the downline tunnel construction when the NYC passenger trains were re-routed from Canville to Fort Erie.
I would love to see any shots of NYC traveling through Pt.C. …must have been thrilling
