Odd 4001 made the list but 4003 did not? Makes you wonder why they didn’t sell 4001 off and keep 4003, one less locomotive they would have to replace in the fleet.
4003 was sold to k&k in 2020 then resold to Lambton Diesel and now it works in Niagara in GIO paint.

Another three letter government agency that’s gotten to big for its britches. EPA does more harm now than good. G&W and likely agreed as it was probably cheaper in the long run to replace the 88 aforementioned locomotives than take the EPA to court.
