Leading a rail train, a pair of old soldiers rolls downgrade along the Grindstone Creek in Waterdown where a telegraph pole hangs precariously in the balance. I wonder if flooding or washouts has been an issue for the CP along here given how close that water is to the right of way.

  1. Lots of brush cutting around there in 2019/2020

    I’m not sure how smart the brush cutting was along that embankment – it’ll only weaken as the roots die :)
