Late day scene; I don't recall VIA #75 powered by LRC-only so not sure what number this passenger is. But it is westbound. One of a rather unreliable fleet of BBD locomotives, this LRC-2 6908 was sold to CAD Rail Services in 1999; renumbered as their 2000 and scrapped in 2003.
No doubt this location pictured will be puzzling to some locals. That is a QEW bridge in the background, and the barn was razed for the future IKEA complex that now occupies this once fertile field.

  1. Unreal.. that barn… wow… so rural..

    now it’s condos.. or something

  2. Burlington West station is not quite visible to the right of the signals in the distance.

  3. I know where you are. Jobs Lane. Approx where you go in to IKEA from Plain’s Road. Bruce

  4. Exactly, Bruce. Back when Jobs Lane actually was a lane. Several old brick farmhouses on it. Nothing left now but the cemetery out by Plains Rd.
