Late afternoon view of B&O 4807 and C&O 3012 west, stopped in front of that huge landmark Canada Southern station in St. Thomas. Only the end is visible but this building is 354 ft long!! Nothing happening here any more, the CASO track has long been pulled up in the 29 years since this photo was taken.

  1. Very nice Arnold. I like the Chessie GP30.

  2. Thanks for this one. It was a Railway City in more ways than just a craft brewer. Was this at the end of the CSX service era?

  3. I’m from St. Thomas and I always wished I was born 10 years earlier

  4. Don’t worry about it, Alex. For the sake of this hobby just about every one of us wishes we were born sooner. Just as I do. But then, I could be 6 ft under and pushing up turnips by now if I had.
