Kind of a nice surprise catching what was reportedly a re-routed #326 passing through Georgetown. Consist was IC Dash-9 #2723, PRLX ex BNSF SD75 #236 (ex 8236) with a unit tank train, and no buffer car, (place card #1993). DPU was CN SD70M-2 #8849, which split the tank cars and an empty rail train.

  1. If this works out I will have a bookend to your photo you posted today. This is so neat. :-)

  2. No buffer car meant that the train was empty. Loaded trains require a buffer car.

  3. I guess the place cards stay open no mater if the cars are full or empty.
