Kama Bay! What a sight! 10 years ago (from the date of this upload) I stood high above the waters of Lake Superior and among the peak fall colours the 'North Shore' had to display with my (then) girlfriend and captured Vancouver to Montreal train 112-24 passing below. I'd return the following year to capture the scene in the summer. Not sure if I'm going to recreate this one in the winter time tho...

  1. This is amazing btw

  2. Had an unforgiving wait here last month while an eastbound rotted at Firehill. The black flies were hungry and I lose the preferable light. Nice shot, Dave.

  3. lost*

  4. As a silver lining, the Rotary Club in Nipigon had their BBQ booth going in the Legion parking lot, so not all was lost.

  5. Summer is gorgeous up here but the relentless bugs can change ones attitude. Hopefully your next experience up on the north shore is better in the way of meets as CP completes their siding extension projects at Selim and Struthers.
