Caption: Just south of the hamlet of Cedarbrae, Ontario, CN 874 warms itself during a brief moment of sun on an otherwise gray day. Midway through the 102 car train, the sun surrendered to the omnipresent cloud cover. Of the 102 cars, 93 were SKNX Saskatchewan grain hoppers of both the original and green repaint variety. Quite a treat for fans of the SASK cars, or a fan of the cylindrical covered hopper in general. CN 8901, 2442, and 2598 do the honours (well, not 2598 in this shot as she had shutdown, but the crew got her restarted a few miles later for the climb up the moraine). 1456hrs.
