Just entering western limits of Guelph Jct, CP's now defunct Triple Crown Roadrailer train crosses to south track, running eastbound behind CP 3043. Wet sticky snow fell overnight, powered by strong wind, and that had me itching to head up to the Jct for morning activity on my day off from work. The T.C. was handed off from NS in Detroit, destination Toronto. It ran eastward daily except Monday and Saturday.

  1. Does anyone know why Triple Crown Services switched the daily RoadRailer train to CN from CP?
When it was on CP the train terminated at Lambton Yard.
