Just another day on the CSX in SW Ontario today as the Wallaceburg local heads east through Tupperville en-route to Dresden to run around their train. He will then return to town, switch the elevator here and drop a car in Wallaceburg.

  1. Nice shot Myles. I like the angle

  2. This photo is nice Myles, I didn’t recognize the location. I assume the variety store that was at left was gone by then?

Seems LAC bought that and added it to their property, demolishing it.

  3. I don’t quite remember a convenience store being there so it must have been gone by this point. There’s still a former White Rose gas station on the left across the tracks. Seems to be someone’s house now.

  4. I have a photo that’ll knock your socks off some day. I had some home runs chasing that line and some (very large) misses as I was a different photographer, rarely thinking or planning ahead for anything new.

But I did get that variety store and it made for a real nice shot.

  5. Nice looking forward to it, this town was (and still is) very photogenic. My first few chases I decided to shoot mostly videos in like 240p, while I had a good digital camera with me. Ohwell, at least some are on YouTube.
