July 1968 Penn Central train NY-4, Chicago to New York City is about to hammer across the diamond at Canfield.  GP40 3014 along with U30B’s 2888-2874 and a GP30 have livestock and refrigerated goods as they hurry to make the next morning cutoff times for the Big Apple markets. It is only 6 months since PC was created and none of these engines have been restencilled. Looks like a cloudless humid day at The Junction, you can probably listen to the rail joints bang as the heat induces the track to expand
