3 GP9′s and 3 different paint schemes!

I’m going to add to Paul’s comment with, 2 different railroads, 5 loco’s in the picture and nothing is painted in a common livery.
Incredibly, CN has over 100 GP9RM’s still active! Sixty+ year old technology, albeit significantly updated, in daily service. Unprecedented, aside from perhaps a couple of lake freighters, compared to other forms of transportation. Imagine Air Canada still flying 707′s or DC8′s!
SOR must have really messed up 3403 for it to still be down in Hamilton…it came up to Brantford last week and went right back down.
Long live the GP9′s on CN – I say that now but I know the end will come. I am very much enjoying CN’s roster right now and relishing my time with the GP9′s. The 567′s sound very very good.
Joe, can’t test a six axle unit in Hamilton – has to go to Brantford to the Hagersville for proper dynamic testing, then sent back to the shop in Hamilton for further changes as needed. That’s probably 2081 in the photo working the yard, not sure where 3403 would be in this shot.
The 3403 is behind 4003 to the right, and yes 2081 was busy in the yard The 3840 was at the north end of the yard, not being used.
3403 has made a few runs up to Brantford but still has the bugs. 3840 should have been picked up by 421 sometime last week to ship out for rebuild.
