It's an unusually hot spring day...Saturday April 28th 2007....and standing on the bridge here you could smell the creosote rising from the ties......331 had made a big lift....and now was struggling out of the cowpath with allot of steel products.....two 2400's spliced by a 5300 standard cab Sd40 head west into the sun.

  1. Good Heavens! Out of the woodwork comes the old Bayview regular from the ’70s. (The photographer, not the train) :o )

  2. Arnold…out of the woodwork ? seriously ? I’ve been here all along…as a matter of fact…I think we are best buds now…Greg R…aka “snake” :)

  3. Don’t worry. I long deduced whom the SNAKE was. Talking of blonde women from the dark past and that car…..well, it wasn’t hard to figure. I am just surprised you surfaced to post a photo.
And, no matter what..yer not dragging me into the Sundowner. :o )

  4. Haha you guys. Greg – love this – when you are shooting into the sun, this is one way to make the most of it. This is how you use the light to your advantage… even if it’s against the ‘grain’ !

  5. Oh, and Snake, when you DO wander off down to the Sundowner, check Resolute at Thorold South for us and see what the company switcher is doing, will ya?
