It was the end of a long week of work, and it was raining, but I decided nonetheless to venture up to Campbellville and watch OSR put their drag from Guelph away two at a time for CP. Worst case scenario, I'd watch some MLWs in the rain. With the derail restored the sun made a brief appearance at just the right time, as Engr. Snook throttled up for a good show, with the smoke coming from the trailing 505.

  1. Hard to believe it was raining there James :) Nice shot!

  2. Whoa what a smoke show. Sweet!

  3. Thanks guys. If memory serves I actually started walking away back to my car when they restored the derail, and then the sun came out and I scrambled back for a shot.

Kevin, you can see the rain water on 181 (esp the windows) if you look closely.

  4. That smoke is called turbo lag and of course is signature ALco/MLW. Great photo!
