Caption: It was an interesting morning on the Galt Sub around Wolverton. I'm pretty sure the ID of this train was T69, and it came from Pender. NS 4444 was tracing Wolverton since 4am something so I decided to go trackside to check it out, in case it was leading east to Toronto. There was no sign of the power anywhere at Wolverton. After waiting a safe 20 min before heading home, I heard NS 4444 east calling to depart Pender for Wolverton. I raced over to Drumbo for this shot. Once the train went into Wolverton, it dropped its entire train, shuffled the power around and went back west to London light power around 10:00 with CP 3130-CP 3113-NS 4444-BNSF 6538-CP 9700; the same units pictured here but rearranged so that it didn't need to go long hood forward back with the BNSF backend. A nice birthday treat for me :)

Happy Birthday Kevin!
Happy birthday!
Sweet!
What a great catch. I love numbers like that, and was going to head out and look for it; but I thought it was back at London or somewhere. Congrats on this as well as surviving another year. )
