It looks unseasonably comfortable for a late November morning as Amtrak's Adirondack passes through Saint-Hubert, an area previously served by the Montreal and Southern Counties. Less than 10 miles into its 381 mile journey for the day, the train will travel about another 10 hours to New York City, including the time taken to trade the Phase III heritage unit for a dual-mode locomotive at Albany-Rensselaer.
