It is certainly not a sight to be taken for granted as we are only a couple weeks away from 2019. I can’t imagine anyone in charge of purchasing locative back in the 1950 would have ever invisioned this pair working for their original owner so many decades later. Granted they have been rebuilt and seen overhauls since they rolled off the assembly line in London, Ontario. Today’s local 551 has just finished working the old Glass lead at Milton, and is now pulling forward to grab a cut of hoppers before heading back to the mainline. The old glass plant once sat on the land where the new industry sits behind the train. It was closed and demolished several years ago when the business moved to Mexico.

  1. Nice shot Marcus!

  2. I have switched the old glass plant many times over the years.
