Caption: It is already getting on in the afternoon as the first Nanticoke train over the TH&B using Chessie power puts his train together at the west end of Aberdeen Yard by Stroud Rd. One of the difficulties in following this train on its way to Brantford and down toward Waterford on the old TH&B Waterford sub was the fact it often left Aberdeen even later than this; resulting in a real problem with shadows in the low sun. But sometimes, like today, we got lucky. Power is B&O 4815, C&O 3885 and 4828. I'm using an old K-1000 Pentax and this is from negative film, not a slide.
