Inspired by Marc Dease's evening photos of VIA trains at Sarnia, I love the longer daylight as this is the 21:01 arrival of Train 75 at Chatham. Hard to believe it really is 9pm at night!

  1. I’m impressed how clean it looks around the station grounds.

  2. Nice one Todd, the lighting under the eaves is dramatic

  3. Arnold – not bad considering everything that was removed.

Bruce – thank you. :) I wanted to balance the shot – with it being evening (and cloudy), and to also have the outdoor lights clearly seen.

  4. On the extreme right, there is curled barbed wire over the fence. What is in there? Is this where the RR keeps trespassers? LOL

  5. Only the rowdy types like you. I would say there are track components in there, like bolts and spikes and maybe insulated joints and even some wire….

  6. In the ‘compound’ is where the CN keep their truck locked up. Literally. Gate and all. Guess one to many wanderers have broken into it.
