Caption: In this shot there are technically 12 locomotives. OSR 1620, 378, which have just returned from running the Woodstock job. Between the 378 an the 175 is a visitor to Salford. CEFX 6573, which has been worked on by ZTR. Next is 175, coupled to it's rear is 644. beside it, even farther back is 503, resting in the shade. On the outside track is OSR 1400 and 1401 (directly behind it). farther behind the ex. RLK Fs is 1244 and 1249. Finally, behind 378 is 383, and behind the CEFX 6573 is the 6508. The 383 and 6508 ar eboth in the shop. 6508 is being stripped of the CNR green and gold scheme for application of OSR paint.

Wow! Quite the collection of locomotives OSR has. Never fails to disappoint. Can’t wait to see the 6508 all repainted and looking fresh…I guess it will be the first F-unit to be in OSR paint.
Sad to see the Traditional Canadian National paint go though. Don’t touch the Chessie!
I hope they don’t put the “white arrow” scheme (like 378 and 1620) on the F-units. The white doesn’t look right curving over the nose. Something like the SOO Line’s burgundy paint would be nice. To see a SOO Lines= burgundy F-unit, click here:
