Caption: In July 1976, there was a chemical fire near Mimico on the Oakville sub which caused CN train 73 to detour over the Halton sub as a passenger extra (hence the white flags). It arrived a couple of hours late, proceeding past the station to the eastward signals at what was then known as Burlington, then backed up for its station stop before continuing west to London and Windsor(presumably assuming its normal schedule authority. (Unfortunately, I don't have the exact date. Burlington CTC plant was renamed Burlington West when the current GO station opened around 1988.)
