In better times 1057 waits to depart with a Tuesday run. 1057 is out of service with 136 running occasionally. Diesel 703 now handles most excursions. Major firebox work would be required before 1057 could run again. Four generations of my family have rode behind 1057 and 136 starting in 1973. We do our best to support this unique operation, riding or donating every year.
