In an odd turn of events and a timely meet at Tichborne pushing this train into daylight, CN 3061 leads CP 112 past Crow Lake.
The hotbox detector reported a bitterly cold -16c and for the second time in a row I froze my fingers getting the shot. Yet again it was worth it.

  1. Nice catch. Just enough light at just the right time.

  2. For sure. The meet with 113 provided us with just enough of a delay for the late winter sun to rise.
