Caption: In an effort to try out different compositions of the CN bridge over the North Saskatchewan River, I came up with this.
Pictured is rescue power leaving town to help a crippled train on the Camrose Sub (Edmonton toward Calgary). I lacked patience in the day to see what they had to retrieve.
This may not be my first shot of the standard GE's on CN, but it is one of the first. Personally, I think the cowled units looked more refined, and I have always liked the stripes.

I guess CN had wanted transparent film with white lettering for all of those little notices on the side of the newer power but the manufacturer goofed and made white film so the units looked like they were covered with Post-It notes.
