In a scene inspired from John Hardy's Rusty Rails, I captured the ol' "Pride of Orangeville" and crew returning to Orangeville north of Snelgrove, approaching Old School Road. In Mr. Hardy's book he captured a pair of CP MLW's along with a leased VIA F40PH-2 6452 leading a caboose hop north on the then CP Owen Sound Sub in late December 1994. The book is a great read for anyone wishing to learn more about the the branches in mid-western Ontario, from construction to abandonment.
