Caption: If there is a dull weather day in January, I will find it. Here's the northbound "Northlander" passing the old Aurora station behind ONR 1986 on such a bleak day. This locomotive was retired in 1996 after a long life as ONR 1501, before and after renumbered to 1986 for the passenger service. The Northlander has not run since 2012, but the Ontario government, seemingly with an anchor around their heels, claim they are going to bring it back. Some day. We'll wait. I've not been to Aurora in quite a few years but I can imagine it has really changed since this "country" setting.
