If I had a dollar for every time L542 would die here at what the crews call "Muscle beach" I'd have.. a few dollars. Muscle beach is the "gym" located along Edinburgh road where the former CNR Fergus sub is parallel for a few kilometers. Here's one such time in 2022 where they'd park it here and the train will wait for a recrew. I highly value my sleep but night shots in winter are fine by me, since it gets dark so early.

  1. This is great, I put up the 5533 and it is followed shortly by the 4731 and now the 4732. Each one in a different paint scheme and setting. I’m loving it. :-)

  2. Pretty cool in 2023 we still have all of cn’s modern paint schemes on freight locomotives. (With some slight changes like reflective yellow frame stripes etc)
