Many of us made comments on who influenced us photographing trains. I mentioned in my comment that it was my grandfather, Ralph Mellow of Napanee, who had the biggest impact on me. While I was actually looking through my collection for a different station to post, this brought me full circle to Mr. Hosts photo and post. Moulinette is another one of the Lost Villages that was demolished due to the creation of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Although simple in design, thankfully it was preserved at the Lost Villages Museum located just outside of Cornwall. I am thankful not only to have captured it, but also to have captured my grandfather on camera. Like the town, he too passed in 2010.
