I was out train-watching yesterday before work and there was nothing on CP so I checked out CN and sure enough CN 439 was coming. I ended up catching it at two locations in the city, this being Howard Ave. The crew is getting ready to take their neck braces off as they head towards CN Van De Water Yard on this very bumpy section of track. Just before the crossing the engines were rocking so violently I thought they were going to derail.

  1. Hi Mike….what is the routing off the lakeshore Via/CN line back to the CASO to get into Windsor yard? Thanks

  2. Chatham sub – Chrysler spur – Pelton spur – then it connects with the CASO at Pelton JTC.

  3. What Mitch said is correct although at Pelton the Pelton Spur sort of morphs into the CASO. Also they cross over the Windsor Sub. to get to the Pelton Spur from the Chrysler Spur.
