I was not sure if the new slug set would be out and about today, but when I saw the signal go up for GEXR 431 I figured I would try a different location. The tail end of 431 is still crossing the detector at Rock Cut as the head end passes by me as the train parallels Highway #7 west of Acton. I just can't get enough of these older standard cabs, in a world that seems overloaded with new wide cabs.

  1. Forget the visuals – the fact you have 645′s giving their best to climb the hill at Acton… the sounds here are nothing short of amazing

  3. to be honest, the fact that they are 1 shortline owned by G&W and 2 they come when I want cn action, ruins it for me. I would much rather see some OSR action or some Class 1 645s
