I was never a big fan of the Gensets, but the concept was a good one that unfortunately didn’t work out well for most of the class ones. CP did pick up a pair of the Gensets. They only lasted a few years on CP though and were tested around Ontario on a number of assignments. This day 2100 was paired with a GP9U at Streetsville yard. I was given permission to take this shot.

  1. Why permission??

  2. I had to stand in between the yard and mainline for the shot.
