I know I shot this on Sunday May 7th. If it was possible to be at the Jct, I would show for #75 on weekends, which was a 'dinner hour' train thru Burlington. It was usually lengthy, and usually some power of interest. However, with this shot, I long ago misplaced my notes. Only ID of the power of this train is the obvious. CN 6780, leading two B units and what looks like a GP9, and it would be in the 4100-4133 series, as some of them were active in passenger service. The track on the left is a hold over from steam engine days, where pushers used to wait to help out trains tackling the long grade westbound up thru Dundas. It was later used for MoW equipment, and then subsequently removed.

  1. One of the best pictures I’ve seen for the infamous “slosh”. :-)

  2. “Sloshing” at the station not allowed.
