I honestly thought I had no chance of catching the (American) CP Holiday Train today, but luck was on my side with 15 mins to spare as the train approached Guelph Jct. The sun even broke through the clouds briefly as the train passed. While the train looks best in the dark, it is nice to occasionally photograph the whole consist in daylight. :) From here the train picked up a few passengers at the Junction before having a meet with train 254 at Puslinch, then off to put on a show at Galt.

  1. Marcus: I’m sorry you didn’t meet up with us around the corner at Mile 43.2 Galt. !!! Oh, but nice shot anyway.:o)

  2. So that was you guys parked in the corner. Dave Howard and I were at the curve at Victoria Rd.

:) Lots of people out for it.

  3. Nice one Marcus, 2200′s seem to look a little less boring when their decked out like this.

  4. The 2200s are beginning to grow on me, but they are no GP9 LOL.
