I had been spending the last 15 seconds staring at the clouds after E59 departed Regina with CP 3017 leading as shadows began blanketing the ground around me. Luckily a hole emerged last second and sunlight managed to strike the rare breed of AC power. This unit had been on my bucket list for this summer back home in the prairies as it's been locally assigned in the area for a few years, but managing to bag it by luck on my way to the Regina Railfest modeling show sure was nice.
