I had been in Carcross YT for about an hour when the WP&YR train arrived from Whitehorse. With a smile on my face, I spent about 20 minutes photographing the train. Carcross is a very interesting town with a lot of history. A few months after this picture was taken the WP&YR shut down.

    Is this narrow gauge? Looks like it on street view.

    Great shot James. I’m not sure what looks better, this paint scheme, or the green and yellow.

    Docta, yes, the WP&YR is 3-foot gauge.

    Don’t see very many images of the old White Pass in this paint scheme. Thanks for posting this one for us.
