I enjoy the changing of the seasons when summer turns to fall, in late September, not only do you get foliage changing colour into the yellows and reds, the last wildflowers bloom purple. Insert the oranges of G&W in a bucolic rural scene in Arkell, Ontario on a beautiful early fall day. Since GEXR took over for OSR in August 2020 GJR has continued to set record carloadings since the Goderich Sub was abandoned to Goderich in '88. 2023 should be a banner year with over 5000 cars/year handled. I had thought that perhaps the Salt Mine in Goderich gave CP considerable traffic, but based on the Data from the 1980's prior to abandonment to Goderich tells me perhaps GJR has achieved all time carloadings in recent years. This will be hard to prove without more data - further research or comments are welcome - add it below if you have any please!
