Caption: I don't recall the events of the day, of course, being so long ago, but it must have been decent temperature to hang out to the bitter end; hoping to capture an image of the daily 'inbound' Starlite before the sun went down. And by the looks of this, time was very short.
Not a bad catch though. Now that it is long gone, as in 30+ years, there never seems to be enough TH&B images in my files.
Off the hillside at Bayview, with the sun's rays only visible because it is shining down the tracks of the Dundas Sub to the left of me; are TH&B 72, 401 and 74; Hamilton-bound. After setting off, this train would pick up Toronto bound traffic and return; usually at least 2 hours later.
Don't have an exact date on this pic, but I know it is 1977 and by the foliage looks to be late October.

A classic TH&B picture.
