I don't know the boundary lines so I am going to call this Dundas. (Is it Burlington? Is it Hamilton?) Anyway, this is shot from the CP bridge over the CN just to the east of Old Guelph Road. Train is close to Mile 1. Not a location that is easy to get to any more. The obvious change over the years is the surprising lack of trees back then. Its barren!!! Somebody sure did a good job of manicuring !!!
I'm think that is the old Burlington Brick Co chimney seen at upper left in the photo. CN 4105 and Tempo unit CN 3150 have an impressive train.

  1. Neat, a CN unit and a Tempo unit – did this happen often?

  2. I haven’t any other shots that I can think of. Maybe one of the ‘old pros’ might have an answer to your query.

  3. Yep, it did.
