I do not recall CN Tempo units (3150-3155 MLW RS-18m) appearing so grubby. This one somehow missed the wash. Seen here is just your standard Tempo train, early-morning, by the looks of it; perhaps #71. I became very tired of seeing these units, day after day, and was actually relieves when they all went to retirement in 1983. Posted this because of the soft morning lighting. Looks nice.

    All that bolted steel will soon give way to the CWR laid along the shoulders of both mainline tracks.

    One day the VIA’s or GO’s we see daily will become… interesting to the youngins…

    guess that was the same with the Tempos eh???

    Yes, Paul……I was going to comment on that and forgot. Now we know when ribbon rail came to the junction.
    Steve: As far as GO is concerned; there just have been a fair amount of GO action in the first 5 or 6 years, yet we see very few photos of the early paint scheme.
