I always had a liking for CN’s wide cab GP40’s especially the ex GO Transit ones. Here one leads a westbound with a nice mix of power including a GTW GP38, another CN GP40 and CN/GTW GP40 6401 in “Operation Lifesaver” paint. I believe 6405 was the only other GP40 to wear this paint. There were other GTW painted units that also received “OL” paint. The train is just getting on the move again after stopping for about 45 minutes to fix a bad hose bag. I always loved this angle and hillside shots at Hardy and regret not taking them more often as this location today is very overgrown. The trailing cut off tank cars will be dropped at Paris for Railink to forward to Nanticoke.
