Here is proof of a CN SD40 pulling the Northlander. I can't exactly remember the date (I never took notes and the envelopes the film is in is rarely dated) but it was definitely a cold night, as evident from the diesel exhaust vaporizing from the ONR APU behind the 5222. As soon as the SD40 starts loading, it too will give off vapour like an old steam engine.
