Caption: Here is one of those daily sights (at the time) that has aged quite well in my opinion. CP 159 is seen topping the escarpment at Guelph Junction with the standard pair of SOO SD60s. SOO Line SD60s were a daily, often multiple times a day sight on the Galt Sub for years if not decades. Personally I never got bored of them, but at the same time never got overly excited either. Today I'd be chasing this thing till I ran out of light, but at the time it was just another one and done train, maybe the next one will have something even better.

Oh yeah, I just went through my 2004/2005 photos and how many times I saw a pair of SOO’s on trains, where I was not set up to get a great photo of it.. it was just another pair of SOO’s…. where was the good stuff???
Then they dissapeared into rebuilds..!! I have a few shots here and there but most of them are pretty crap
Great photo Matt. They were common for so long paired together on trains and then seemed to be gone almost overnight.
