Caption: Here are 2 signs of winter, snow falling, and of course, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. As I woke up this morning, I got a a timely notification that both Holiday Train consists (The U.S and Canadian) were running together to Montreal, where they'll split and go their directions at the end of the month. I thought it'd be pretty cool, and as I got a notification that they passed Palgrave, Ontario I immediately headed out to the tracks with about 10 minutes to spare to set up my camera. My zoomed in shot didn't turn out as good as the camera focused on the snow instead of the train, but thankfully I grabbed this shot which came out fine before the train passed. See www.cpr.ca for the schedule of the Holiday Train. The train stops in major cities and towns, with the Christmas lights on, and viewers can watch for free, however are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item for a local food bank. There will also be a performance at every stop.
