As VIA 693 The Hudson Bay backs its way slowly to the station track in Churchill, HBRY 5000 stands ready to move out with a loaded GREX ballast unloading Dump Train from the HBRY Yard at Mile 509.8 Herchmer Sub. on what is shaping up to be a gorgeous September 19, 2024 da in this wonderful remote location.

    Yes, the HBRY green scheme has been replaced by the new HBRY blue and grey …
    I don’t think HBRY 5000 will ever wear the new company colours.

  5. The HBRY green scheme is the OmniTrax colours used when they owned HBRY. There’s a lot of mystery with the HBRY locomotive roster now, with a mix of leased power, newer and older power.

    Great shot of an area rarely seen photographed.
