  1. How long did 1200 last….. surely it was a holdover since CN used slugs in the Hamilton yard at the end, but it didn’t last too long it seems.

  2. I checked my photo data and my earliest pictures of RaiLink painted unit 1200 are in April 1998, while the last are from March 2000.
    Keep in mind this is not an electric-only slug – it is a “B” unit diesel-electric locomotive, intended to be half of a cow & calf switcher set. An SW13B built by EMD in 2/1940 (!) for original owner IC.
