"Full Steam Ahead" !!! Well....open'er up anyway....:o) The engineer really turned on the jets coming thru by the South Siding Switch that is the industrial lead to Chippawa. I had not seen such acceleration there before and I wondered if he was putting on a show for the photographers. Made for an impressive scene as witnessed from grasshopper level in the grass. I often let these trains pass with only a second glance when they had these GP9s leading; never thinking they would someday be almost extinct. CP 8231, 4250, GATX 900 and CP 8238 power this train making a mad dash for the US border.

    A very unusual vantage point for a “Mooney”.
