I don’t think its actually a duck. Looks like a female wild turkey. Mac Yrd has lots of them around.
Ok glad I got the proper name now. Havent really been around Mac yard all too much. Do they always stand this close to a moving train?
Yea they are used to trains. They will fly a short distance if the train was moving fast. Mac Yrd has deer, foxes, coyote’s, ducks and Canada geese all living within or close to the yard, esp near the hump or shop
Used to be a couple pheasant that wandered around the Halton Inbound too
