Caption: Fred Clark and I moved at little more south to the Wainwright Sub. I never though much of the Wainwright Sub. It is straight, and flat (OK, the notable exceptions are the mileage right around Edmonton, and the Fabyan Bridge). Now, Fred would beg to differ. He seems to find it interesting.
So, we are at a spot easily accessible by bicycle, even when we have a car. I guess this was too novel for us ;-)
This is a typical daily wood product train that came out of Prince George. There were 2 on the tracks west of Edmonton (358 and 360). 358 traversed the Vegreville sub as it progressed east, while 360 used the Wainwright Sub.
..... and we have a conventional cab leading.

Steve: Were you standing on the neat old wooden road bridge on range road 224 to take this? I took many pictures there. I remember the first time I stood on there when a double stock train went under us. I would have sworn it would take the bridge out!
Yup, that same bridge. It reminded me of the bridge for Denfield Rd in west London ON, or one west of Kitchener ON (long gone, now).
Luckily, none of those bridges saw much traffic. They are/were narrow.
