Caption: Former CP SW8 6701 had recently been converted to a daughter "Slug" unit and mated with CP GP7u 1502, seen here at CP's Toronto yard. At the time, there were only 4 SW8's remaining on CP's roster when the decision was made to covert 6701 into a slug, having been transferred from British Columbia to Toronto.
